About the Event

This one day workshop offers a chance to use CAT's tools, methods and philosophy to work with the push and pull of fields of transference side by side with the client.  Its focus is on emotional arousal, unmet needs and the simultaneity of working with internal, interpersonal and social experience.


The timetable is 9.30-11.00; coffee break 11.30-1.00 lunch break 2.00-3.10. Tea break 3.30-4.30.

A workbook of slides and some pre reading will be provided.


It has been a popular workshop, and is now repeated for the 12th time. The workshop will be of value to both those who feel this is a neglected area of their practice and those who feel familiar with the central role of transference in CAT but would like to refresh and stretch their work in supervision from a relational and psychodynamic point of view.  We want to rekindle interest in transference awareness.
