About the Event

The process of mapping key words on paper as we talk to shape and keep track of the conversation has wide applications. It is a tool derived from Cognitive Analytic Therapy used in therapy, in consultation and for reflection with teams. Any complex and important conversation whether in personal life, business, social and political contexts or the creative and performing arts can be helped by mapping out the interplay between people, ideas and relationships.

Map and Talk

Map and Talk is the website of Steve Potter, a UKCP registered psychotherapist, based in London teaching and supervising work with individuals, teams and organisations.  This website is hoping to spread understanding of Map and talk which is based on the tools and ideas of Cognitive Analytic Therapy and other approaches and enables mapping side by side together the patterns of interaction in the stories we tell of the lives we are living.
