About the Event

The integrative and relational methods of cognitive analytic therapy offer tools of mapping, writing and voicing that reach beyond the therapy room to work with the interplay between individual, group and social experience.  This taster workshop will showcase a series of concepts and practical exercises for working with individuals and groups to enhance or restore their relational and reflective capacity.  Participants should go away with ideas for further training and a workbook of tools to try out in their own settings.

Map and Talk

Map and Talk is the website of Steve Potter, a UKCP registered psychotherapist, based in London teaching and supervising work with individuals, teams and organisations.  This website is hoping to spread understanding of Map and talk which is based on the tools and ideas of Cognitive Analytic Therapy and other approaches and enables mapping side by side together the patterns of interaction in the stories we tell of the lives we are living.
