About the Event
This one-day workshop demonstrates, explains and gives space to try out ten key and interdependent skills to help manage the essentials of a time-limited or longer term therapy. CAT can be demanding of time and emotional attention of the therapist within and between sessions, and the transference charged skills of working side by side co-operatively can be challenging. These skills highlight the art of shaping, holding and concluding work session by session and over a period of time. They seek to reconcile the goals of being effective, efficient, responsive and heartfelt.
Timetable for the day 9.30-11.00 (Session 1)- 30-minute break 11.30-1.00 (Session 2) Lunch 1hr break 2.00-3.15 (Session 3) 15-minute break 3.45 -4.30 (Session 4) and finish at 4.30
